Jaakko has turned his lifelong passion for gaming into a distinguished career in the games industry. An avid gamer since the late ‘80s, he joined Supercell in 2013 and has since led investments in external game studios, identifying and supporting teams with the potential to create standout games. With a keen eye for talent and creative potential, Jaakko helps studios grow and succeed in the ever-evolving gaming landscape.

Jari specializes in investing in new studios and game tech. He is motivated by ambitious founders bringing innovative ideas to games and works closely with our investee companies while also managing strategic projects within Supercell.

Before joining Supercell in 2022, Jari spent five years in investment banking in London and New York. He has an MSc in Finance from Aalto University in Helsinki.

Jari grew up playing games, mostly from the GTA and NHL series. Now, he plays a lot of mobile games, from Squad Busters to Royal Kingdom.

Jessica leads platform efforts for Supercell Investments community, focusing on supporting investee teams through community-driven initiatives, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnerships. She also oversees our investor brand.

Jessica has a background in supporting startups and growth companies, having spent a decade building startup communities, fostering partnerships, organizing events, and helping founders connect, learn, and scale their businesses.

She enjoys playing all investee games from It Takes Two to Merge Mansion and Hay Day to Fortnite LEGO. She’s always on the lookout for great new puzzle games.

Benjamin makes sure Supercell Investments supports our investees in the best way we can—by fostering the community and building bridges between Supercell and the teams we back. He also focuses on elevating our investor brand.

Prior to joining Supercell Investments, he worked at Pigment, a fast-growing French software company, leading their community efforts. Before that, he helped shape the stage program and speaker experience at Slush, the world's leading startup event. He holds an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Some of the games that have stuck with Benjamin through time are Guitar Hero 3, League of Legends and the FIFA games.

Iida supports our team across all aspects of investments, including market research, deal sourcing, investment evaluation, and financial analysis.

She has a background in the Finnish startup ecosystem. Before joining Supercell Investments, Iida led Junction which organized year-round, global hackathons, connecting top young developers with companies to drive innovation and solve real-world challenges. She’s also a student at Aalto University.

Iida’s favorite games from childhood is The Sims, but she’s also clocked a fair few hours on Hay Day, Fruit Ninja, and Nonogram. Her latest addictions are Magic Sort, Merge Mansion, and Geometry Dash. She’s always testing and playing new games.

Timur works with special projects at Supercell and is also part of the Supercell Investments team, working closely with many of our investee companies. He has led the development of major titles like Hay Day and Boom Beach, along with several other innovative projects at Supercell.

As part of the Supercell Investments team, Pietari focuses on scouting new investment opportunities in game studios and game tech. He also works with special projects at Supercell. Before joining Supercell in 2018, he founded and led several successful tech startups—starting all the way back in the early 2000s. Yes, that’s how old he is.

Some of his favorite games include Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, and similar games from that era. He has also shared the same Hay Day farm with his wife and daughters for almost a decade. These days, he spends most of his time playing investee games, new Supercell titles in development, and prototypes from potential future investees.
